Accounting firm website design

A referred client looks you up on Google before they call. We design accounting firm websites that back up the referral: a clear scope of services, a price list or cost calculator, a tax blog and local SEO.

A referral brings the client in, the website has to convince them

Most of your clients come through referrals. Before they call, though, they type your firm’s name into Google. If they find no website, or one that looks like it was built in 2012, the referral loses its weight and the business owner starts comparing you with firms that have a current website and say plainly what they do and for how much.

That business owner is about to hand you their company’s most important data, and if they are switching accountants, it is usually because the last one let them down. They have already read the slogans about reliability and years of experience on their previous firm’s website, so this time they look for proof: a clear scope of services, prices or ranges, licences, certificates and references.

That is the moment we build accounting firm websites for: services explained without jargon, prices in plain view, licences and references in one place, a call booked in a few clicks. The site keeps working when the office is closed, for example in the evenings just before a filing deadline, which is exactly when business owners most often go looking for a new accountant.

Prices on an accounting firm’s website: show them or not?

Show them, at least as ranges. A business owner who reads “get in touch and we will tell you what it costs” often moves on to the firm that wrote its prices down. A transparent price list or calculator is the strongest sales argument in accounting: the client knows right away whether you fit their budget, so your conversation is about the scope of work from the first minute.

The price list does not have to be a rigid table. Packages by business type and number of documents usually work best, with “from–to” ranges and a short note on what pushes the final figure up: payroll, headcount, VAT, social insurance filings. You keep room for unusual cases, and the client never feels the price is a secret.

As part of design that sells we lay out the price list so it reads comfortably on a phone: packages side by side on a desktop, cards stacked on a small screen, each with a button that opens an enquiry with the package already selected. You change rates yourself in the content panel, so a change in regulations never means waiting for a developer.

What an accounting firm website includes

The scope depends on the size of your firm and who you serve: sole traders, limited companies or businesses with dozens of employees. The project is part of our industry websites offer, so loading speed, a mobile version, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility and a content panel are included in every version. At handover we check for a PageSpeed Mobile score of at least 85 and test the site on real phones. The elements below appear in almost every accounting firm project.

  • Scope of services

bookkeeping, full accounting, HR and payroll, social insurance and VAT, each on its own page

  • A monthly price list with ranges or an estimate calculator that gives a price before the call

  • A contact form that asks about business type, scope of services and a convenient time for a call

  • Blog and news with regulation changes, tax deadlines and tips that bring traffic from Google

  • Local SEO for “accounting firm [city]”, “accountant [district]”, “bookkeeping for sole traders”

  • Licences, certificates, liability insurance and client references in plain sight

An accounting cost calculator and a client portal

An estimate calculator asks a few simple questions: business type, tax regime, roughly how many documents a month, how many employees, whether the company is VAT-registered. At the end it shows a price range and offers a call, with the answers already filled into the form. You get an enquiry with specifics, and the client does not have to describe their business from scratch.

The answers can go straight to your inbox, a spreadsheet or your CRM. That is what integrations and automation covers: we connect the site to the tools you already use and automate repetitive steps, such as sending a preliminary offer once the form is submitted. If one of your tools has no API, you will hear about it before the quote.

In the extended version the site has a client portal: business owners log in, upload documents and check their statements, instead of sending invoices in five emails and receipt photos over a messenger. A smaller portal fits inside the firm’s website. If you need a full panel with accounts, roles and history, we build it like a SaaS client portal.

A tax blog: deadlines, regulation changes and business owners’ questions

Around the turn of the year and before filing deadlines, business owners type questions into Google about regulation changes, tax deadlines and sole trader returns. An article that answers them brings in a business owner who is already half convinced: they read your answer first and only then ask for an offer. That article keeps working all year, which makes a blog one of the cheaper investments in a firm’s visibility.

We plan the blog structure together with SEO and analytics: categories by topic, links from articles to service pages, structured data and a Google Business profile for local searches. Analytics shows which articles brought enquiries, so you know what to write about next.

You publish articles yourself in the content panel, just like price list changes and new services. After launch you get a short training session and documentation, and posting an article takes a few minutes. If you have no time to write, we prepare a topic plan for the first months and quote copywriting as a separate item.

Articles on deadlines and regulations bring in clients all year round.

How much does an accounting firm website cost?

A site with a scope of services, a price list and a form starts from PLN 4,500 net. A site with a blog, a calculator and a client portal costs up to PLN 10,000 net. What pushes the price up is mainly the number of services and pages, the calculator and its logic, integrations with your tools, the client portal and whether your copy and team photos are ready.

Delivery usually takes 2–6 weeks from brief approval. We start with a short online call, and within 48 hours of it you get a free quote with a written scope, a schedule and a list of work. The figure in the quote holds until the end of the project. Payment is split into two or three parts, with VAT invoices. If you want to launch before the filing season, an express track is possible at a surcharge.

You do not have to start with the full scope. You can launch with services, a price list and a form, then add the calculator or client portal a few months later, once you see how many clients ask for them. We build so that the next stage does not mean rewriting the site, and each stage is quoted separately. Hosting, the domain and any licences sit in your accounts from day one. The prices of extras are in our pricing.

Data security, ongoing care and growth after launch

Your clients trust you with the data they guard most closely, and they expect the same from your website. Forms run over an encrypted connection and collect only what the first conversation needs, and the privacy notice is written in plain language. The domain, hosting, panel and code belong to you, and you receive the full set of access details at handover, so nobody outside holds the keys to your website.

If something stops working after launch because of our code, we fix it free of charge for 30 days from handover. After that we can stay with the site through support and growth: updates, backups, security monitoring and new features as the firm grows. Kacper Baranowski runs every project personally and replies to messages by the end of the next working day, including in the busy filing season.

We design a similar path to trust for a law firm website, where clients also hand over matters they would rather not discuss out loud. If you want to know what your site would cost, describe your firm in two sentences in the contact form: who you serve, which services you want to show and what your current website is missing. We will ask about the rest on the call.

Questions about this offer

Your situation not here?

Describe it in a few sentences. We reply with specifics, a few questions to narrow things down, and a time for a call.

Start with a free quote
Should an accounting firm’s website include a price list?

Yes, at least an indicative one: “from–to” ranges or a calculator. The client sees right away whether you fit their budget and calls with questions about the scope of work. Some business owners never call a firm that hides its prices.

How much does an accounting firm website cost?

From PLN 4,500 net for a site with services, a price list and a form to PLN 10,000 net for a site with a blog, a calculator and a client portal. You get the exact figure in a free quote within 48 hours of our call, and that figure holds until the end of the project.

Is a blog worth having on an accounting firm’s website?

Yes, if you write about what business owners type into Google: regulation changes, tax deadlines, sole trader returns. Such an article works all year. If you have no time to write, we prepare a topic plan and quote the copy separately.

How does an accounting cost calculator on the website work?

The client answers a few questions: business type and tax regime, number of documents a month, number of employees, VAT. The calculator shows a price range, and the answers reach you together with the enquiry, so you already know the client’s business before the first call.

How long does an accounting firm website take and what do I need to prepare?

Usually 2–6 weeks from brief approval. Prepare a list of services, your price list or pricing rules, licences and certificates, and team photos. We can write any missing copy for you: copywriting is quoted as a separate item, and before the filing season an express track is possible at a surcharge.

Can clients upload documents through the website?

Yes, in the version with a client portal: business owners log in, upload documents and check their statements. We agree the portal’s scope in the quote, and you can add it to a live site later. The simpler version keeps a contact form and the tools you already use.
