A website redesign that keeps what already works

An old website is rarely worthless. Even if it looks a decade old, it has addresses Google has known for years, pages that bring in enquiries and links from other sites. The most expensive mistake in a redesign is throwing all of that out with the old look: the new site launches and search traffic drops, because the old addresses lead nowhere.

We run redesigns as part of our business websites offer, but in a different order from a new site. First we check what the current site does well and what to keep, then we design and build the new version, and finally we move the traffic across so Google and your customers land on the new addresses.

When a redesign makes sense, and when fixes are enough

Not every weak website needs rebuilding. Sometimes fixing the headings, the form or the speed is enough. If the audit shows that smaller changes will do, we say so plainly and price them under support and growth. A full redesign makes sense when the problem is in the foundations:

  • The site takes seconds to load on a phone and that cannot be fixed without new code

  • The look no longer fits the company, the offer or the prices you charge today

  • People visit the site but do not send enquiries or call

  • Every content change needs a developer or risks breaking something

  • The site runs on a site builder or an old system nobody wants to maintain any more

An audit before design: what stays, what goes, what we improve

Before the first sketch we go through the current site with data in hand. Through our SEO and analytics service we look at Google Search Console and analytics: which pages bring traffic, for which keywords, where enquiries come from and where people leave. Along the way we list:

  • Every address on the site and the traffic each one brings

  • Keywords and Google rankings that must hold after the change

  • Content to move, rewrite or remove

  • Forms, integrations and scripts that must work on the new site

  • Problems with speed, accessibility and the mobile version

The audit shows what to carry over from the old site and what to design from scratch.

A new design and new code, based on the audit

The audit becomes a plan: the structure of the new site, a content list and a redirect map. You approve it before we start designing. The design is drawn in Figma through our design that sells service. We keep what customers recognise and what works, such as the logo, brand colours or the layout of your offer, and rebuild the rest around what should happen once someone lands on the site.

We build the new version through build and code, in Astro or Next.js, with a Sanity or Storyblok content panel. We move the content from the old site and tidy up headings and images, and a condition of acceptance is at least 85 points in PageSpeed Mobile and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility. We work on a staging address, so the old site runs unchanged until switchover day.

How to keep your Google rankings when the site changes

The most important part of a redesign happens on launch day and just after. Every old address with traffic or outside links gets a 301 redirect to the matching new page. Wherever possible, we keep addresses unchanged. Before switchover we test the redirect map on the staging version, so no important address ends in a 404 error.

After launch we submit the new sitemap in Google Search Console and watch for indexing errors. We compare traffic, rankings and enquiries with the period before the change and send you a short summary. With a big change in structure, rankings can fluctuate for a few weeks, which is why we plan the redirect map at the audit stage.

How much does a website redesign cost and how long does it take?

Redesigning a typical company website costs PLN 6,000–15,000 net. A smaller site with a few pages and ready content sits near the lower end. A site with dozens of pages, a blog to migrate, integrations and a new structure sits near the upper end or above it. We agree the price before we start and that is what you pay. If your current site needs fixes rather than a new design, start with the fixes package from PLN 1,500 net. Content migration, copywriting and other extras with their prices are in our pricing.

Delivery usually takes 4–8 weeks from an approved brief. You get a free quote with a written scope and schedule within 48 hours of the call; all we need is your current site's address and, if possible, access to Search Console. The main factors in price and timeline are:

  • The number of pages and posts to migrate

  • Whether content moves as it is or gets rewritten

  • Forms, integrations and features that have to be rebuilt

  • Changes to the site structure and the number of redirects

  • A second language or new sections the site does not have today

After switchover: care, growth and your access

The code, content, domain, hosting and accounts belong to you, and after launch you get the access, a panel walkthrough and documentation. For 30 days from acceptance we fix bugs in our code free of charge. Payment is usually split into three parts: a deposit to start, a payment after design approval and the rest after launch, each with a VAT invoice.

A redesign is a good moment to add what the site lacks today. You can add a second language, sales through an online store or campaign landing pages straight away. If your industry has its own needs, see our industry websites too.

Send your current site's address through the contact form and tell us in two sentences what bothers you about it. We reply by the end of the next working day, and Kacper Baranowski runs the project personally from the audit to switchover.

Questions about this offer

Your situation not here?

Describe it in a few sentences. We reply with specifics, a few questions to narrow things down, and a time for a call.

Start with a free quote
How much does a website redesign cost?

Redesigning a typical company website is usually PLN 6,000–15,000 net. The price depends on the number of pages and posts to migrate, whether we rewrite content, and on integrations and structural changes. You get a free quote with a scope and schedule within 48 hours of the call.

Will I lose my Google rankings after a redesign?

The risk comes when old addresses disappear without redirects. That is why we start with a list of every address and the traffic it brings, set a 301 redirect for every important one and watch indexing in Search Console after launch. With a big change in structure, rankings can fluctuate for a few weeks; we compare traffic with the period before the change.

How long does a website redesign take?

Usually 4–8 weeks from an approved brief: audit, design, code and content migration, testing and switchover. The timeline depends mostly on the number of pages and whether content needs rewriting. You get a schedule with stage dates together with the quote.

Will my current site keep working during the project?

Yes. We build and test the new version on a staging address, and your current site runs unchanged. We schedule the switchover for the quietest time and test the redirects on the staging version beforehand.

Can you change only the look of the site?

Yes, if the current code and system are in good shape. Often, though, speed or awkward content editing is also a problem, and then we suggest new code in Astro or Next.js with a Sanity or Storyblok panel. We tell you which option fits after the audit, with the difference in price.

Will you move the content from my old site?

Yes, content migration is in scope: copy, images, blog posts and any data that should stay. Along the way we tidy up headings and descriptions for SEO. If some copy needs to be written from scratch, copywriting goes into the quote as a separate item.
