Law firm website design

Before anyone calls a law firm, they check it on Google. We design law firm websites with lawyer profiles, a page for every practice area, a legal blog and local SEO, so that person finds you, trusts what they read and books a consultation.

Clients search for a lawyer on Google and judge the firm by its website

Someone who has just received a lawsuit or an official letter types “lawyer [city]” or “divorce lawyer [city]” into Google and opens the first few results. If your site looks untouched for years, or does not say clearly what you handle, they go back to the results and call the next firm.

Choosing a lawyer is largely an emotional decision. In a divorce, a dispute with a business partner, criminal charges or a property purchase, the client is looking for someone they can trust. A calm tone, concrete information and an obvious way to get in touch help them more than any slogan.

The site we design for you shows your experience and practice areas, then leads to a short consultation form or a phone call. Anything that does not help the decision is cut from the layout. That makes the site easier to read for someone who is anxious, has only a phone in hand and is often looking for help in the evening.

A law firm website and the bar’s ethics rules

In Poland, advocates (adwokat) and legal advisers (radca prawny) may inform about their practice, but within the bounds of their professional codes of ethics. We know those limits and write informative copy that stays inside them. The final word is still yours: someone at the firm should review the copy before publication, since you know your bar’s resolutions best.

In practice we write about facts: who you are, what kinds of cases you take, what experience you have and how working together looks. We do not promise outcomes, compare you with other firms or add aggressive calls to action. Instead of “Win your case with us” we describe how the first consultation goes and what the client should bring to it.

The visuals keep the same tone. We skip stock photos of gavels and smiling people in suits. As part of design that sells we design a site that looks like a firm with years of practice: restrained typography, real photos of the team and the office, and generous space between sections.

What a law firm website includes

The scope depends on the size of the firm and the number of practice areas, but the elements below appear almost every time, for a solo practice and a team of several lawyers alike. We build the site as part of our industry websites offer, so fast loading, a mobile layout, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility and a content panel are included in the price. At handover the site has to score at least 85 in PageSpeed Mobile.

  • Lawyer profiles

photo, practice area, experience and bar registration number

  • Practice areas

a separate page for every area of law, such as family, commercial, criminal or real estate

  • Legal blog

articles that show what you know and bring in traffic from Google at the same time

  • Consultation form

a short description of the matter, the practice area and a convenient time to talk

  • Local SEO for searches like “lawyer [city]”, “law firm [practice area]”, “legal help [region]”

  • Language versions

English or another language for clients abroad, each with its own URLs on Google

A page for every practice area: how clients land on the right service

Hardly anyone types just “law firm” into Google. People look for help with a specific matter: a divorce, splitting property, a criminal defence, a shareholders’ agreement. A single “Services” page listing areas of law will not answer those searches. A separate page for each practice area describes what clients come with, how you handle such cases and who at the firm takes them on.

SEO and analytics is built on that structure. Each practice area has its own title, description and headings for local searches. Structured data tells Google what the firm does, and your Google Business profile shows the address and opening hours. Analytics shows which practice areas bring enquiries, so you know where to put your time.

Practice area pages link to lawyer profiles and blog articles. Someone who has read about splitting marital property sees in one click who handles such cases and can ask for a consultation right away. The same links show Google that you cover the topic beyond a single post, which lifts the whole practice area in search.

Every practice area has its own page, so clients go straight to their matter.

A consultation form clients actually finish

The form asks for what you need before a first contact: a short description of the matter, the practice area and a convenient time to talk. Every extra field is a chance for someone to close the tab. Next to the description we note that details the client would rather discuss in person can wait for the call, and a phone number always sits beside the form for those who prefer to ring.

If you hold first conversations online, the form can show free slots straight from your calendar, and the client automatically gets a confirmation with the meeting link. If you prefer to call back yourself, you get a simple form and a clear note on when the client can expect to hear from you.

Form data travels over an encrypted connection and reaches only your inbox. The privacy notice sits next to the form, written in plain language. Security and speed are handled by build and code: current technology, only the dependencies that are truly needed, and Core Web Vitals checked before the site goes live.

How much does a law firm website cost?

A site with lawyer profiles and practice area pages starts from PLN 5,000 net. An extended site with a blog, a consultation form and several languages goes up to PLN 14,000 net. The price depends mainly on the number of practice areas and pages, the size of the team, the blog, the languages and whether your copy and photos are ready.

Delivery usually takes 2–6 weeks from brief approval. We start with a short online call, and within 48 hours of it you get a free quote with the scope, a schedule and a list of work. Payment is split into two or three instalments, we issue VAT invoices, and the price is agreed before we start and stays that way. A team photo shoot and copywriting are separate lines in the quote, so you can drop them if you have your own material. The prices of extras are in our pricing.

If you are just opening a practice, start with a profile and two or three practice areas. You can add the blog and an English version later, once the first clients from abroad arrive. We build the site so that growing it does not mean rewriting it, and each later stage is quoted only when you need it.

The legal blog, ongoing care and growth after launch

A blog is not mandatory, but it pays off. Articles answer the questions people type into Google before they contact a lawyer, and they show that you know the subject. You publish them yourself in the content panel, and we set up categories that link every post to the right practice area. One solid article a month is enough for the blog to start bringing in clients over time.

The domain, hosting, panel and code belong to you, and all access is registered to your accounts. After launch we can stay with the site through support and growth: updates, backups, security monitoring and new features. For the first 30 days after handover we fix bugs in our code for free. Kacper Baranowski runs every project personally, so you always talk to the person responsible for your site.

We take a similar approach to a website for an accounting firm, because there too clients hand over their data and need to trust someone first. If your firm serves mainly businesses and needs a broader site, see our business websites. Describe your practice in two sentences in the contact form and we will reply with a proposed scope by the end of the next business day.

Questions about this offer

Your situation not here?

Describe it in a few sentences. We reply with specifics, a few questions to narrow things down, and a time for a call.

Start with a free quote
Does a law firm website need a blog?

It does not have to, though it is worth having. Articles bring traffic from Google and answer the questions clients ask themselves before they call. One solid article a month is enough, and you add it yourself in the panel.

How much does a law firm website cost?

From PLN 5,000 net for a site with lawyer profiles and practice areas to PLN 14,000 net for a site with a blog, a consultation form and several languages. You get the exact figure, with the scope spelled out, in a free quote within 48 hours of the call.

Will the website comply with the ethics rules for advocates and legal advisers?

Yes. The content is informative: no promised outcomes, no comparisons with other firms and no aggressive slogans. Someone at the firm should still review the copy before publication, since you know your bar’s resolutions best.

How long does a law firm website take and what do I need to prepare?

Usually 2–6 weeks from brief approval. It helps to have a list of practice areas, short bios of the lawyers with their registration numbers, team photos and contact details. If copy or photos are missing, we add them to the quote as a separate item.

Can I add a blog post or a new lawyer to the team myself?

Yes. In the content panel you add articles, lawyer profiles and new practice areas without a developer. At handover you get a walkthrough and documentation, and the site and all accounts belong to you.

Can the website have an English version for international clients?

Yes. We add an English or other language version with its own URLs, which Google shows to users in the relevant country. Legal copy is best translated by a person, because machine translation confuses legal terms.
